When are you going to let us edit our unanswered posts?

Just unanswered ones, cos otherwise threads would become a nonsense. Can't you do this? I keep posting when I'm tired, end up posting 2 or 3 times to make my point (if I even manage it then) when once would do, then look like a complete moron to someone coming along fresh the next morning!

gaelicsheep: I think it would be technically tricky to offer an edit function just for unanswered threads - cos you wouldn't know it was going to be unanswered till no one has answered it, iyswim

And, tbh, in the time it would take you to edit it, you might as well have bashed out a another OP and started a shiny new thread. Don't you think?

Not unanswered threads, unanswered posts. I'd have asked to edit any posts, but I figured you wouldn't want people editing posts all over the place and destroying the flow of conversation. Or maybe a 1 or 2 minute window? But hey, you're going to tell me that's what preview's for aren't you?! I should start using it!

What would happen if someone is bashing out a reply whilst you are editing htough? Suspect it would be very hard to do like that. It either has to be all posts or no posts....
