Is it worth having a clothes swap/donation thread?

Just an idea from another thread where someone is having a difficult time. Children so rarely wear out clothes as they grow so quickly. I often donate to charity shops (and buy from them too at times). I would be equally happy to send them to another MNer.

Just an idea.

What a fab idea!

I'd be up for it!!

I dont mind doing this, I try to pass on clothes where I can, especially my DS11 - he rarely wears out anything, if he wears it at all! And shoes/trainers, are usually like new.

More than happy to help.

For the adults too, how many of us have new items in our wardrobe that never get worn, or 'sale' things that arent quite right? Surely not just me? Blush
