A question for MNHQ or some other clever bod

what is the 'user status' box for on the registration details page?
should I be putting status's such as AWOL or 'old and haggard' or 'human' in it?
I don't like to have a empty answer box on my page...I feel the need to fill it.

If you hover over a user's name on their posts, their current status (if they have one) will come up against it. So - if you want to keep people updated on such things, go for it!

If you fill it in then when someone hovers their mouse over your name they can read it.
