Hiding ante/post natal threads

I know you can hide threads individually, and also select the topics you want or don't want to see in Active Convos, but is there a way to stop threads in the Ante or Post Natal clubs from appearing in the Most Active box?

Perhaps I'm a little over sensitive, but I had to bow out of an antenatal thread because I'd had a miscarriage, and although I'm obviously very happy for all the MNers from my month who are now looking after their babies, I'd welcome the opportunity to not have to see their updates unless I actually want to, iyswim.

Can you not just click on the discussions of the day tab and leave it there - I never see most active.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Habs, that would be the most sensible thing to do I guess. I need to adjust my MN technique and habits.

I just saw the July thread pop up in most active and part of the thread title was "the gang's all here" (or words to that effect). July wasn't my month, but I did think - I bet they're not all here.

It's horrible how little things pop up to bite you, isn't it?

Indeed, Habibu. And it would be impossible (and undesirable) to cosset oneself from all these things I guess.

Could you remove the whole topic so you don't get to see any of the threads.

It must be upsetting to have them pop up.

busymum, I've elected not to see the post and ante natal topics in Active Convos, but that doesn't stop threads appearing in the Most active box.

Oh sorry yes I didn't read it properly. I've wondered before how those threads are choosen and I think there may be a way to edit them as I was on a thread a few days ago that had an offensive title and even though it was a very busy thread I noticed that it didn't seem to appear in that box.

Oh, cosset as much as you can. It's a miserable thing to be going through.
