Just been trying to cast our minds back and I think we just thought it sounded more global and inclusive - encourage folks who weren't maybe in the uk to have a look. It was also of course the time of the .com revolution - not the .co.uk revolution - so maybe that was lurking in our brains too!

Funnily enough noone's ever asked us that before!
