I've been getting this too just a white page with the above on, every time I've tried to get on mumsnet in the last half hour or so

chocolatefroggie · 15/09/2010 15:40

it's still doing it you know here

paisleyleaf · 15/09/2010 18:10

I've got this too. I've managed to get on to mumsnet from a link from another site. But can't get on by putting the address in or going through a link from google.

SingingTunelessly · 16/09/2010 08:50

Yes same problem - can't get on main page.

HelenMumsnet · 16/09/2010 11:52

Sorry to hear this. We did have some problems yesterday but it should all be working fine today.

Are you still getting error messages when you go to the Home page?

SingingTunelessly · 16/09/2010 12:41

Yes still not working for me.

HelenMumsnet · 16/09/2010 13:41

Hmm, are you a BT customer perchance?

SingingTunelessly · 16/09/2010 20:54

Errr yes. Only changed to BT on Tuesday. If I had only just heard about MN and tried to find it through the address bar there is no way I could get on. Very odd.

It looks like there was two problems on wednesday, both now resolved (hopefully).

We had a problem with one of our servers in the afternoon, that was causing the "repository_root/webdocs" message to be displayed. After exhaustive technical troubleshooting service was restored (we switched it off then switched it back on again).

Later in the afternoon there seems to have been a problem that prevented BT customers from seeing us. We had a few people report that they could see the beeb, google and so on but couldn't see us. The boffins at BT seem to have that all fixed up now.
