So MN HQ can have more help to figure out how people feel about the ad - post here if you don't like the ad being there. Hope they don't mind!

Bumping this as someone on the other thread has posted they don't like the ad and not posted here .

I think you'll find all the "no"s are on the TikTok leaving thread and the original thread. I'm a "no" if that helps.

misdee · 23/08/2005 21:40

no no no!!

its a very underyhand site the mulipa one.

SleepyJess · 23/08/2005 21:41

Nooo!!

WigWamBam · 23/08/2005 21:46

I don't like it - I have no problem with formula feeding or even advertising formula, but I think that trying to pass themselves off as supporting breastfeeding is wrong. There is no way that any formula company is ever going to give unbiased advice. I also think it's an underhand way of trying to flout the laws banning the promotion of formula milks.

I'd like to see it go.

Gillian76 · 23/08/2005 21:47

No from me too.

JulieF · 23/08/2005 21:50

NO

moondog · 23/08/2005 21:51

Nay,nay and thrice nay!

moozoboozobillynomates · 23/08/2005 21:53

No, because it's sneaky, but I still think too much interest in it is a bad thing, be it negative or otherwise

Lucycat · 23/08/2005 21:54

nope

No, I don't like it, for reasons posted elsewhere. If they insist on keeping the ad, can it just say "Milupa make follow-on formula" and can it be a banner rather than something that's placed to look like editorial that's been okayed by MN?

The "Milupa support breastfeeding" line is utter shite. Of course they bloody don't! Nor do B&H support nicotine patches, Cadbury's support Weightwatchers or cows support McDonald's!

Flossam · 23/08/2005 22:31

HM, Blue Cow off to see how all her cow friends are slaughtered and made into burgers!! She escaped because she would make it look like maccy D's use artificial colours in their food, and their food is healthy and good and nice - not blue! C beebies will love it. I'll send it in!

LOl, Flossam!

katierocket · 23/08/2005 22:32

I thought there was another thread about this? (not the tiktok one the original one) Confused

astonished · 23/08/2005 22:33

No from me

mears · 23/08/2005 23:31

NO

spidermama · 23/08/2005 23:32

I DON'T like the ad.

marthamoo · 23/08/2005 23:39

I'm a no too. Not because I am anti-bottle feeding, but because, as so many others have said, this is simply a way for Milupa to raise brand awareness of their product range in a way that gets around the ban on advertising formula. Insidious.

vickitiredmum · 23/08/2005 23:42

no from me too!

Janh · 23/08/2005 23:43

I wasn't a no, because I had taken the ad at face value and not gone any further into it than that.

Having read the arguments though I have become a no.
