Posters names look hard to read now

I thought it was just me. It is different, but how?

I preferred it with the "By" as well - made the names stand out more making it slightly easier to read them. The left and right hand margins of the page are a few pixels wider too, I'm sure of it.

I knew there was something different but I couldn't work it out.

I think the names are too close to the left margin of the blue box - it was better with the "by" IMO.

Hmm - so it seems we've been busted . We have ditched the "by" because we wanted folks to be able to have long nicknames without them being chopped of at the end - and we though the "by" was a bit extraneous. Hopefully you'll get used to it and forget it was ever any different in a wee while.

How long c an they be now then?

Sooo, would you know like to explain why,on Active Convos, the name of the person who wrote the penultimate message is showing, rather than the last one? For new threads, this means there is no nickname appearing in the 'By' column.
