Small picnic rug ideas

ds going to an open air event later this week and will need something comfy but dampproof to sit on . Thinking along the lines of a backed picnic rug but it only needs to be about 1/4 of usual size as he'll need to carry it around with his lunch etc. Any ideas please?

I have a little square camping cushion that is semi-inflatable and is just big enough for my large bottom me to sit on. You can then roll it up, squash all the air out, do up the air hole and pop it into it's carry bag so it's quite compact making it easy to carry in a bag. I bought it from Tchibo quite a while ago but I would imagine most outdoor/camping shops would sell similar.

What about a pac-a-mac? Always handy for sitting on when the ground is damp.

Just found this and this - is this like yours ? Will a local store have them though ?

No, mine's not quite like those but similar size. The first one looks suitable for what your ds would need.

I'll have a look to see if I can find mine.

What about this? It's not like mine either but looks quite useful!
