Rocking/gliding chairs

Hi

I am a new mum with a 14-week old baby boy. I've always dreamt of breastfeeding on a rocking/gliding chair, and I wondered if anyone had any recommendations?

They seem like a lot of money for a piece of furniture. Are there any better-value options out there?

Would love to hear everyone's suggestions.

Have no idea on the make of mine, it was a gift and one I'm very grateful for. They are lovely but yes a "luxury". The Ikea Poang chair is rated on another mums forum, for being good for breastfeeding in.

Should you get a glider, make sure you get one with washable covers. Mine isn't and still has a stain on it from a horrific night with DD1 nearly 4 yrs ago!

Look on ebay - they are much cheaper on there. Just make sure to check in the listing that it says "From a smoke free home" (And pets if any allergies) or that the cushions and covers are completely washable.
