DS would love a camera. I was going to get a Vtech kids one but I wondered if it might be better to get a cheap proper one? What to do please?

We have a Vtech one for our 4 year old which is great - it can really cope with being dropped and generally mishandled by ds and his sister who is only 18mths! - also has little games and extras to play which he loves.

Thanks! I might just get him that. Seems quite good and needs to be robust!

yes defo vtech one, urs is great for my 4 year old and has survived countless drops.

DD's both have the older type Vtech ones. DD2's survived being dropped in a muddy puddle! Last time i bought a cheap normal camera, was for DS2 and it was so rubbish i took it back.

Another vote for vtech. Il's bought one for dd1 for her 4th birthday, she plays the games in the car, does 'funny'pictures with the stamps, makes silly short films with dd2, who can also use it. It has survived many drops + a sneak visit to the beach (i didn't know she had hidden it in the bag).
a normal camera would have been broken 20 times over by now.

Right, I shall order it then. Thanks!
