Swim nappy or float suit?

Was about to buy a float suit for DD (18m), who's a real waterbaby, then thought, does it offer the same, well, containment qualities as a swim nappy? Not that she's ever done anything in the water (other than a wee, which I'd hardly be aware of ), but I guess anything other than a swim nappy should wait till she's potty trained??

float suits are NOT water nappies!
