Have come to work today in what I feel is a totally inappropriate outfit - guy who sits next to me said - ooooh you look summery today - am sure he meant - ooooh how inappropriate for you to dress like that for work - you look like a big hussy!!!

Where can I get some not too expensive sort of floaty skirts and stuff that will keep me cool??? Don't like wearing shirts and have allergic reaction to anything that looks blousy or purple????

Matalan - I bought some white sleeveless cotton blouses for £8 each and a couple of floaty skirts in their current half price sale - only about £7 each - perfect for this weather. I usually wear suits to work but could not bear the thought of it in this heat so just wanted some bit to see me through this weather.

Not sure we have one near us but will have a snoop and see - does anyone know where petticoat lane market is???? Somewhere really near where I work but not sure how to get there???? Girl who sits near me gets all of her stuff from there and you would never guess that she dresses in stuff from a market!!!

PCL - between Liverpool St & Aldgate.
However I bet you look great, unless you've come in in a bikini then stuff the lot of them!!

Linen gear?

Went to PCL and bought myself 3 really nice skirts - were only £10 each and am really chuffed - will pop into M&S Fenchurch St on way home and have a browse round there for some tops to go with them!!

OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH - only person I would wear a bikini in front of is DP (and DD od course - she thinks I am beautiful whatever I wear!!)

Hmmm, £10 each - fantastic. Might have to get down there myself.
