Hello everyone,

I need an advice, the gift for young parents, with 4 years boy. Useful or not?
GPS personal tracker for child.

I am struggling to think of what young parents with a 4 year old will do with a GPS tracker. Is it for geocaching?

UncleJohn · 10/06/2010 22:52

:D no, but they travel a lot, and you know, sometimes it happens. And I first time saw the tracker like this, you can connect with your phone through the internet and see where your child is.
I though it' a great idea

Brill, where do you get them from?

UncleJohn · 10/06/2010 22:57

Words fail me.

I am placing the GPS tracker in the same box as baby wipe warmers and nappy bins.

I think not a great gift, sorry.

Just makes people paranoid surely. Not necessary IMO.

Is the gift for the parents or the child?

If parents - how about offer to babysit and let them have a lovely night out together? Or get the cinema/theatre tickets or a restaurant booking.

If 4y boy - toys.
