Things to attach mobiles to cots?

We have a beautiful mobile that my brother and sister-in-law made (undersea creatures made of felt) but we can't find any way of attaching it. Don't want to drill into the ceiling in case the plaster cracks.

Is there such a thing as just the arm so you can attach your own mobile to it and it then screws onto the baby's cot?

You could buy a dirt cheap mobile and then use the braxket that comes with that?

I think I have a bracket in my cupboard which you can have for free. I'll have to check it's still there though - have been meaning to send it to a charity shop for ages!
