SIL has been talking about getting some garden toys for her DD who has eyesight problems, just wondered if anyone had any ideas for something not-too-expensive we could send her?

I got all my garden toys for my DD on ebay at 99p a throw so you can get slides and seesaws etc for that if you shop well!

Otherwise, paddling pool, pop,up tent or playhous, large inflatable ball, giant blow up skittles (ELC), tiger feet.

ELC also have a fabulous range of 'large' things for the garden.

How about some plants that she can help plant and tend and enjoy by touch and smell - lavender, rosemary, mint, geranium, lemon balm etc.

Or find some with interesting textures like lamb's ear or strawflower or chinese lantern. All sorts of grasses really.

Some lovely hanging things would be nice - like wind chimes, or you can get rainbow coloured spirals that twist in the wind. Or windmills.

Noisy things, like balls with bells?

I was going to suggest things that involve exploring textures like sand/water/pebbles/shells/wood table with different pots and stuff for pouring.

Windchimes to hang in trees, you can get bell sounds and wooden sounds etc.

Different herbs:
