I'm looking at getting one of these for DH, not sure which to get. Would love Ipad (or whatever it's called!) but n way can afford it! Looking to spend up to £250. Not too bothered by internet access but would be a bonus.

Anyone any ideas as to which is best?

Thanks all

Amazon Kindles are good and there's lots of free and very cheap books available

Is it a disadvantage it just being Amazon linked? Have seen this one, also the Neo and the Sony - too many to choose from and I have no knowledge in this area at all!!

we had the kindle and totally loved it. you can download other things via a conversion app. really easy and no problem at all.

only problem was dh dropped it, broke the screen and insurance company wouldn't pay full cost of replacement so now we have to save up all over again.

i really really loved it...

Don't get the cooler e book from Argos. Screen breaks really easily, I've had 3 in 3 months. Argos were great about refunds etc but if I had bought online from cooler I'd be screwed. Company doesn't care and refuses to admit there is a problem.

Google e book reviews and you will see lots of people with the same problem. BeBook gets good reviews as does one of the sony ones.
