Hi, Im not a technical person but can cananyone explain to me what facebook android is when uploaded to a mobile. Thankyou.

Android is the software running on some types of mobile (on others there's Windows Mobile, and of course the iPhone has Apple's software in it).

I suspect there is an application for Android users to make Facebook easier to use (maybe logging you in automatically and checking for updates, or perhaps a little sinister, it could send updates saying 'Just going north at King's Cross' as sometimes these applications can do things you don't always want!)

May be completely wrong as

1. I don't have a phone using Android
2. am not using Facebook and
3. would never want FB or Twitter to be sent info about my location by software in a phone!

You might find someone on Geeky_stuff section who has a Facebook app for the HTC Hero or HTC Desire (phones running Android).
