I need to get dd some suncream (7.5months) i really dont want to but she got nasty heat rash yesterday and i feel i should have some on standby - otherwise i will be doing the limit and cover approach.

Can anyone reccomend/tell me where to buy the least toxic sun cream??

I use the green people one but did have an unstylish buggy burkha shade a babe when they were under 1, they are much improved now with a zip out front section, i had an older design, great for encouraging naps too

Hi,
I got the Shade A Babe by Outlook, from Boots I think. I don't know how it will go with the 2 yr old this summer but was a life saver last year. It ties on around buggy with velcro so fits most buggy styles and has a zip & velcro front panel which you can have part open. It helps keeps flies out too and wind.

www.eco-essentials.co.uk stock Lavera who do a fantastic range of natural sun protection including neutral (no perfume) & baby versions in creams and spray which is handy for applying to kids. As it is mineral based it is effective immediately so none of this waiting 20 minutes malarky.

I've been buying natural products online there for a few years now as I was concerned about chemical nasties in cosmetics and even more so now I have kids.
