Our hoover gave up the ghost qabout a month ago and I've been slow to replace it as we only have carpet on the stairs and DS1's bedroom, although our car os looking pretty awful by now.
There's an electric sweeping brush for sale in Lidl at the moment - anyone have any experience with these? Are they any good? I have mostly wooden floors and this does look a bit easier to haul around that a bulky hoover. Any other suggestions?
