Want to buy a Sherwood tower + swing arm and have found this with Activity Toys Direct.

Has anyone bought from them before?
Anyone bought the Sherwood set?

And if you did, how did you assemble it? DH & I not v DIY so may have to ask out handyman to come and do it - a one man job (with a few hands to help out)? How long will it take him?

Does it have to be concreted in? or anchored somehow?

TIA

Hi

Not bought from Activity toys direct but we did recently buy an ex display sherwood tower and swing arm from a local tp agent. It took H and I about 4 hours to assemble most of it with some minor bits finished the next day. However as it was ex display and therefore already partly assembled when it was delivered I would say it would take longer from scratch say a good 6 hours for 2 people with at least one of whom would need some DIY skills.

Thanks Annie - and are you happy with it? Do the DC love it?

Oh absolutely love it. It has been a space rocket, a jail for the "baddies", a race track for cars down the slide and the swing is a pirate ship to mention just a few.

We have not concreted ours in but it did come with stakes which we have yet to put in. To be honest its extremely heavy and unlikely to move but we will put the stakes in soon just in case.

I have been looking out for a one of the dens on ebay to add to it but no luck yet!!
