Does anyone know where I can get plastic bunches of grapes?

That's it really.

Dd wants to be grapes on the carnival float (fruit theme!) , and I reckon I can get brown/green leggings and T-shirt and sew on plastic grapes.

Any ideas?

Or could you use circles of green paper ??
It might be easier.
I have seen plastic grapes in garden centres etc - for hanging in your kitchen (or on your daughter I suppose !)

otherwise only seen small play bunches in ELC etc

ponygirl · 01/08/2005 21:33

Can I just say...you lot are FANTASTIC! I didn't think I'd get any responses at all! Wow!

Would love to do balloons, but dd has major phobia and would have screaming abdabs if one burst, otherwise perfect. Have just found there's a Range near us - never heard of it, but it's in our nearby city, so will investigate tomorrow. Otherwise, that replicas website looked brilliant. Thank you so much - and Slink, I may get back to you, if that's OK.

Thank you!

Love the replica site, plastic crisps and ice cream, oh the fun I could have on April Fools Day.

Dunhelm

Like the idea of the ballons better, though she won't be able to sit. I remember to have driven a group of friends to a fancy dress party in my teens, and the jelly bean bag girl was safely transported in the car boot!

Skribble · 03/08/2005 01:30

I remember some poor child dressed as the tin man mane from big tin cans which all started to cut him .

You could just put a some small balloons down front only so still able to sit and move about, purple/ green face paint and some giant leaves on his head should do it.

ponygirl · 06/08/2005 22:37

Well, I investigated The Range but they were small bunches for £2.99 each!

Thing I might investigate Whizzzz's site!

Just found the site and was going to order but dicovered you have to confirm order in writing which will take 2-3 weeks, and you have to pay the pro forma invoice beforehand! Aaaargh. Don't have that long.

Slink could you get me some???
