Really like the look of these, are they any good and does anyone know where I can buy the pale pink one for the cheapest price please?

TIA

they look lovely but I have several friends who have them and who have had repeated problems with them... which often don't get fixed for ages because smeg aren't very good about keeping parts in the UK. just thought I'd pass that on

There is an internet site - cannot remember what is called - does all appliances (type appliances into search engine is how I found it - is in NW somewhere and they deliver!) and is much much cheaper than getting at major stores!!

Not sure if smeg stuff works too well but is beautiful, could have spent hours in kitchen cleaning it - I wanted an iced baby blue fridge but got divorce instead (he he!!)

John Lewis do the pink retro style SMEG. The half and half fridge and freezer was about £1100.The fridge, with ice box was cheaper. You may get it cheaper from the smaller independant stores though; one near offered us the big one for £1000. Unfortunately we couldn't go ahead though as the builders wouldn't give us any money back for not having the one they provide. It would have looked fab in my new apartment though

I have heard good reports about them too and they look so well well made - chuncky and hard wearing. They do take a lot of room up though.

One day...

Rockingrosebud do make sure you see one in the flesh before you decide as I found them a bit disappointing up close ( plasticky looking, especially the handle)
Type smeg fridge into google UK and you will get lots to choose from. Test several sites as some give quite substantial reductions, although delivery charges may apply.

I've had a half and half for 18 months now and I think that it looks fab as I have an unfitted kitchen which I hope looks quite cool and retro so the smeg was the only fridge for me. I've not had any need for spare parts yet, though it does need a jolly good defrost, kids leave it open after icepop raids.

That was my first posting! I think that I'll go and have a glass of wine or even a bottle as I have finally found a thread that I can contribute to. Just discovered mumsnet and think its great,I have 3 of the little darlings fast asleep looking like cherubs after a day of the usual screaming and shouting and that's just me.
