Outgrown travel cot... what next?????

DS is 19 mths and has outgrown his travel cot. He is head to toe and it is a big one!!! At home he is still in a cot. MIL lives up North, what could be my next steps??

He would seem very lost on a single air bed which also takes up a huge amount of space.

TIA

we're going on hols next week and I'm taking the travel cot and a bed guard beacuse I'm sure DS3 will be too big for the cot.

I think a bed is the only option really and if our DS3 gets on ok with a bed/bed guard he'll be straight in a proper bed when we get home.

The ready bed looks great.

A bed with a rail can't be done cos MIL lives in a small bungalow and DH and I sleep in two single beds in one of her small bedrooms.
