If I buy two sets of two way radios would the four of us be able to hear each other?

Or just two of us at a time?

Sorry, I know nothing about these but fed up of cheap kids walkie talkies and thought if they have one each I can have one in the kitchen whilst they're outside and keep in touch with them.

Argos do a four pack but they don't get good reviews

I have got two two set walkie talkies from Comet, they cost about £25 each and are set up so that all 4 can communicate with each other, they are 'proper' ones as opposed to children ones

you would be better off buying cheap mobile payg phones IMO.

want to avoid mobiles at all costs. They are only little and its really so that the kids can play but I thought it would be handy too. We have a large outside space and I can't always see them.

sounds like two two packs would work though jpg so thanks for that will give it a go and ditch the kids silly ben 10 and fireman sam ones which have never worked over a range of more than about 5 metres! I wouldn't mind but they're not that much cheaper than proper adult ones anyway!

Coming back to this, if you think kids are likely to break them you can get no quibble insurance on them for another £10 iirc, so if the dcs drop/submerse etc them all you have to do is take them back to shop and say that they don't work you will get a replacement

ours have a really good range, we too have a large garden and have never had any issues with them this is what we have

I must have bought them on special offer but just found the receipt and found they cost 29.95, they are good though
