School shoes for boy with big feet

As title suggests I am on the hunt for plain black school shoes for ds1 aged 11. They need to be laced and not too heavy. I had ordered a pair of Ben Shermans but they were so heavy he could hardly lift his foot
He is an adult size 7 - and I would prefer to get some in the sales if possAm off shopping tomorrow so any suggestions please

Clarks, Kids and Mens dept.
Barratts, again both depts
Debenhams.

clarks had school shoes in big sizes today,they were black lace ups.the best thing about them was they were £5.00.

startritehave some, think they were about £20 in the sale. both in the startrite shop and john lewis
