Lego Star Wars - Help!!

OK I have exhausted all other avenues - I need Mumsnet to help. My DS has a Lego Star Wars game which we are playing on our Mac computer. The trouble is, we can't seem to save it so every time the computer goes off we have to start all over again at the beginning. Does anyone know when/where we can save? It is so annoying but on the plus side it is teaching him that computer games are often a bit boring!!

Is it the full version, or just the demo? If you have just downloaded the demo, then I know you can't save games at all.

If you have the full version, let me know, and I'll get DS to give you the info you need - Ours is the PC version, but should work the same way in the game.

Hi again and thanks for your reply. It is not a downloaded demo but a disc I paid for that runs on my mac. I think it should be the same as the PC version so any assistance would be very gratefully received!

Ds says try going into the pause menu, then press quit but go to the cantina, then try quitting from here?? It doesn't save in the middle of a level, you have to finish it.

Which Lego star wars game is it?

Thanks I have now tried that and I can see that that is how it is supposed to work but it crashes when I press Save so I think there must be something wrong with it!! I'll take it back to shop!

It sounds annoying. They will change it for you both. I hope the new game works.

LSW saves when you finish a level, and should show a little 'Saving Game' message when it does.

Uninstall it and try installing it again.
