I suppose the thing you have to remember is that aluminium works because is properly plugs up your pores, which is also why it's so friggin bad for you. Realistically you're never going to get the same 'no sweat' effect because you simply wouldn't want to if health is your goal.

However smell is a different matter and there are quite a few aluminium-free deodorants that work well on minimising smell. I can hugely recommend the Green People deodorants. I use both the scent free and the aloe vera ones and they work great. I still sweat but as long as I wash every day it's fine. The thing to remember is that only old, stale sweat and stress sweat smells bad so the best deodorant in the world is relaxation

I like Dr Hauschka (sp?), but it is rather ££££

I use biosen but find the block stick much better than the roll on.

pit rok- I have had the same stick since 2003 and have about half left... I do combine it with other deodorants when playing sport or when it is very hot as I find it is not so good then, but the majority of the time it is fine (the fragrance free one) and clearly it is very cost effective!

ive tried biosen and pit-rock and dont like them.
im ok about sweat but i dont want to smell and i find that at the end of a busy day, i always smell...
will try dr hauska and green people.
thanks

bionson roll on did not work, but the spray one seems to be better. Also have a pitrok which i find works best.

Agree about using a normal one when doing exercise.
