using 2 baby monitors in same house??

Hi, We just had our second baby 2 weeks ago and already have 17 month old son. We currently use a monitor (Tomy walkabout - not digital). Does anyone know if we can simply buy another monitor and use in two different rooms as the children are sleeping separately? Or, do we need to buy 2 digital monitors? Seems expensive! Anyone got any experiences of this?

Thanks

we used one digital and one analogue with no problems as they used different frequencies

I have an analogue monitor and most of the time it's fine, but in the mornings it seems to pick up someone else's baby. I hope they can't hear us!

Ours is a Tomy Walkabout too.

As far as I know, the nearest person who might be using one is at least next door but one (but probably further away - it sounds like a small baby, and the next door but one neighbours have a 2 year old).

Could you try borrowing a friend's monitor to test out whether another monitor would work?
