Gas Barbeques? Which?

Thats it really? Any good ? Which would you buy/ avoid?

We have an Outback one which we've had for about 5 years now - love it. Easy to use, easy to clean. I would recommend a proper cover for it though esp if you are going to leave it out in the winter. Like this

looks good - but it says it doesn't use Lava rocks - was wondering about this as my friend keeps ranting on that if it's a gas one and doesn't have coals/lava rock its not really a bbq but just a gas grill, and therefore (in her opinion) useless - I figure that it's the cooked over flame thing that qualifies it as a bbq, but am really not sure
