Washing machines ... which one for a fairly large family?

So which ones do you have (or you want)? and are they any good?

Just get a Miele, they're expensive but you certainly won't regret it.

We have the LG one - the capacity is great and our electricity bill has definately gone down. It is definitely quieter than the Candy one which it replaced (which is the main reason we picked it as it lives in the kitchen) It was less than £500 though - about 6 months ago in Currys - We are in Northern Ireland and don't think we have Comet. I do miss the no half load feature, but I think those aren't that popular any more.
