lilipadz - losing their stick - quick

I've had 2 pairs of Lilipadz breastpadz now and both have lost the majority of thier stick within a week and been completely useless within a month.

I wanted to use them partially because it gives me the option of sleeping bra-less and partially because I liked that they were supposed to save on money and waste over disposables.

But at around £15 a pair, they're costing me a lot more than disposable pads for only 4 weeks wear!!

Is it just me? Am I doing something wrong? Have 1 fresh pair left and am considering keeping them for bed and going back to disposables during the day...

Tried washing them with mild shampoo and warm water ?

I've tried washing the first set in handwash as suggested (not a moisturinsing one) and the stick went almost immediately.

Current set, I've washed in nothing but hot-ish water. Still lost their stick incredibly quick.

One leaked everywhere last night

Because they don't stick properly, milk collects behind them then when one edge unsticks, it goes everywhere!!!

Right, I give up! Just been feeding DD while the other one merrily created a massive wet patch on the other side. Might as well not have bothered!

Back to disposables!
