iPhone or Blackberry?

Mobile contract up for renewal so i can either of the above for free but don't know which to get. considerations are:

i go on the web to facebook, MN, news, weather and that's about it

i text alot

i listen to music but not massively so

i am clumsy so will need to buy accessories to help the thing bounce when i inevitably drop it

is the iPhone touch screen a pain to use? would the blackberry's keyboard be easier to type?

I have a blackberry for work and a iphone for personal use. The iphone is much better for anything internet based. The only slightly better thing about the blackberry is that the keyboard makes typing long emails easier. For me, the iphone wins hands down.

Iphone definitely.

Friend of mine got a Blackberry on contract and there was an additional charge for email separately. All inclusive in the 02 package I have as well.

Iphone keyboard takes a bit getting used to at first but it also adapts to your typing as well so you make less mistakes over time. Clever Iphone.

same as strawberrycornetto - blackberry is dull and slow compared to the iphone and I find typing on the touch screen v easy. My iphone has a rubber jacket which seems to protect it to a fair degree (although I have not dropped it onto concrete)

Oh and I can't get onto MN on my blackberry - it crashes the browser if that helps make your decision for you

iPhone all the way! It was a godsend when I was breastfeeding and chained to the sofa. It made me feel more in touch with the real world. Fab for the internet and Facebook App.

I have a protective jacket for mine, so far, so good despite 2 DC's grabbing it at every opportunity!

I have a BlackBerry and it's really, really shit if you want to use anything on the internet.

I'm getting an iPhone when my contract comes to an end.

I got my iPhone last week when my contract was up. Had a Blackberry pearl before which I really didn't like. Loving my iPhone.

i can get onto MN with my blackberry... and on ebay and the bbc and a few other websites ok (i dont use internet that much though)

ive never had an iphone so i cant compare.
