Wooden garden playhouse

We are looking for one for DD's (4 and 2) to play in. I've found some resonably priced ones, but the reviews say that the wood is rough and split and needs sanding. I can't be arsed with that! Can anyone recommend a good manufacturer or indeed a good playhouse with opening windows and lots of light.

Cant sleep- How has it weathered over the years? Does it still look as fab.
Would love something like that for DD but funds dont stretch that far plus it would take up about 75% of our garden.

Paisley- Your house painted up looks lovely Def temtped now by the B & Q one.

My dad made one last week for dd2's 5th birthday, it worked out less than £50 is there anyone you know that's handy with a jigsaw? Pictures are on my profile .

niggle we just stained ours, we did this before it was built.

4andnotout - that looks fab! My DH keeps threatening to make one, but to be honest he's not that handy. He also works away a lot and we need it to be up in 4 weeks!

I think we are going to order the B&Q one and try to make it look as fab as Paisley's.

pigleychez - it is weathering very well thank you. We've had an odd small leak here and there, but nothing major, so it pretty much looks as good as new .

You all have lovely playhouses too .

Thank you for the compliment on dd's Christening pic paisleyleaf. It was taken by a once very well known MNer.
