Harness for Tripp Trapp

Does the harness for the Stokke Tripp Trapp help contain a baby that can climb out? My 10 month old DD has just figured out for to climb out of the chair. It has the baby set on. Or is there some other fix that can be used to contain her?

The harness does hold them in but was quite pricey. With DD we managed to restrain her for a few days and she gave up trying. Unfortunately, DS was not so easily put off so we bought the harness.

I just got some a reins/harness set from mothercare, it fitted on fine. £7.99

ditto using a regular reins set - it clips onto the D rings which fit onto the bottom back rest bar.

Thanks. I might check out the cheaper version instead of spending the £25 or so on the Stokke version.
