Bamboo floors....

Trying to find wooden floors for our new extension and some of the existing house. Have looked at engineered oak boards, but quite like the look of bamboo at the moment. Does anyone have it? Do you have vertical or horizontal? and where is a good place to buy it? oh, and is it OK with underfloor heating?
Thanks

we have bamboo floors, they are lovely. Horizontal/natural from The Bamboo Flooring Company website. I haven't a clue about underfloor heating but most real wood seems to have a problem with it. You can get enginnereed bamboo floor from Grundorf which would probably be just as stable as the Oak that you were considering.

thanks triceratops - I do like the look of the bamboo, not sure if we will need to go with the darker shade as the furniture that we have is light wood. Will look at Grundorf.
