Please help me choose a mobile phone

I want a new phone that will also be a fantastic calendar and organiser.

I want easy data-entry, so prefer a good touchscreen to a Blackberry-style keyboard with miniscule keys.

I want WiFi. Bluetooth would be nice but not important.

I want it to have a camera.

I want it to be unlocked or unlockable.

I don't want it to be so expensive that I'm afraid of losing or breaking it, or of being a target.

In a nutshell: I think I want an iPhone - but cheaper!

I am in America, and the 'hot' new mobile phone is the Android (or Droid) by Motorola. It is sold as the Motorola Milestone in the UK.

Those who want an i-phone, but don't want to switch to the i-phone carriers are buying this phone - in fact, it is currently outselling the i-phone by quite a lot in America.

I got one about 3 weeks ago, and have been very happy.

Do you use it as a PDA?
