Today is my birthday and my dh has given me a Hitachi DMP460 player.There is no instruction manual and the little disc is no help.I am quite desperate-he was so excited-[he is 73 and I am 66]and I dont want to admit that I dont know what to do with it.This came about because of an AIBU thread about cds for Mothers Day and how outmoded they are.He has bought me the Bach cello concertos as well.I have accidentally discovered that I charge the battery by plugging the whole thing into the computer but please please mners can anyone tell me what to do next?????

I expect you can treat it like removable storage. So once it is plugged in if you go to "my computer" you should see it under "devices with removable storage" you should be able to drop music files on to it in the form of mp3 files.
don't know about mp4 files I'm afraid.
