Scooter-board - Where do I buy one?

DS will be 6 on 1st Sept. Says he's seen a scooterboard advertised on the back of a comic. Apparently it's a skateboard, with detachable handlebars that turn it into a scooter.

We can't now find the comic, and I've never seen such a thing.

Can anyone help?

Easy · 20/07/2005 16:17

No QoQ, I don't think it is, the handlebars don't detatch from this one

NP - glad I could help

better go and hoover my living room - it looks like it's had a weeks worth of sandwiches and cheese crumbled over it

nicmum2boys · 20/07/2005 16:44

This one is a bit cheaper at toysrus, was looking at it for my DS the other day, but website is out of stock. Would probably have them instoer though.

Easy · 20/07/2005 16:45

Thanx too Nutty.

Now, do I save £20 and buy the fisher-Price one, or will the non-thunderbirds connection cause too much of a problem.

What do you think ?

OP posts:
QueenOfQuotes · 20/07/2005 16:48

Even though I'm skint I'd go for the thunderbirds one - seems much 'rarer' and harder to get hold of so more 'unique'

Easy · 20/07/2005 16:52

I'm a bit skint too, (paying for holiday that was booked 5 months ago, putting in a new bathroom, dh now not working !!!)

but figure that, as the thunderbirds one was what he saw, buying non-thunderbirds would be naff, and cause disappointment.
