Johnsons baby oil gel
Claireandrich · 24/06/2003 20:39
Just a warning to anyone who has children with sensitive skin. My MIL has been using Johnsons baby oil gel for a couple of days and it has burnt her skin. It has been very inflammed, cracked, itchy and painful. She has seen the doctors and his wife had a similar reaction to the oil gel too. I did have some for DD but stopped using it as it stained her clothes. Luckily she didn't have a reaction but thought it was worth letting people know to look out for this. No iea what it is that is in it that causes this though. MIl doesn't normally react to oils and creams.

How strange, my dd is quite allergic, yet this is the only thing that helps her cradle cap (have tried olive oil, cradle cap shampoo etc) and she gets no reaction.
