Child sized knife and fork - but good ones

Where can I get a set of these from? Ds is now 4 and perfectly able to use a knife and fork, but adult ones are too long for him. Many kiddie ones i have seen are so blunt they are useless. ANy good ones out there?

I just got a set from John Lewis - actually they match our proper ones too!
But i have to say they do seem a little bit too small for ds1 (3.5). Though i agree the full size ones are a bit unmanageable at that stage.

gingerbear -those are fabulous. Will be storing those on file for later date

TwinSetAndPearls · 19/07/2005 17:04

I have a good set from ikea, all stainless steel so they look like our adult cutlery, the knife does cut but isn't overly sharp. dd loves them.

ellceeell · 19/07/2005 17:17

these are lovely \link{http://www.welch.co.uk/products.asp?instanceid=13709}

ellceeell · 19/07/2005 17:18

oops,still can't do links

IlanaK · 20/07/2005 10:21

Thanks everyone. We actually already have the one in that link with the smiley faces on. I don't like them much. They are too short and also the knife is not sharpe enough. We have a set from Ikea which is very good, but I don't live anywhere an Ikea now to get another. I love the look of the one in GLTC. It is pricey, but may well be worth getting.

Thanks!

sainsburys have nice ones too

WestCountryLass · 20/07/2005 22:12

My husband acquired some from coughgranadaservicescough and they are perfect size wise and for being proper, not blunt, knives.

Bozza · 20/07/2005 22:15

Studio ones are great - personalised, decent quality and cheap. Would recommend them.
