Help; present ideas needed for DH!

...it is DH's birthday on friday (22nd) and for some reason I have not yet got his birthday present. Not sure why I am so disorganised this year.

I am now at work until Friday, after today.

So what on earth can I get him for his birthday???

I truely have no ideas what so ever!

Any ideas gratefully recieved?

BTW, no idea what my budget is either - less than £100 I think.

Was originally thinking of a mini iPod before (more than that price I know) but once we move DH won't get much use from it, as he'll be no longer walking to work, but going in the car. Not sure if, or how, you can attatch them to your car to play through car system?

You can buy mini Ipods for £118, the gadget that links it up to the FM radio in your car (ITrip) is around £20 - £30. Will hunt out some links...

what about a cinema pass for the year?

As I understand it, the iTrip is illegal to use in the UK - -didn't stop dh buying one in the USA though

NDP - How does it attach to car system? And where did you get it from? Is it for the big iPod or the smaller one?

Because it is an FM transmitter which are technically illegal. Even though it only tranmts within 30 metres or something

What about gift vouchers? I presume they do a gift voucher for the cost of one cinema ticket? I could get 12 of them - one a month. And then get something else too.

Anyone used a DVD rental thingy? Amazon do one for £7.99 a month and up to 4 DVD a month (allowed 2 at a time). Anyone used it?

I have friends that use the tesco one- they get on fine with it....I would check the cost of returns...IE- free postal envelops you can put straight in the PO box or ones you have to weigh and pay for yourself.

We would do this if we weren't expecting no 2 in 3 weeks! Just not the time to watch TV....too much sleep needed!!

Amazon says free delivery and free returns - pre paid enveloped to just put in post box.

Dh is forever complaining there is nothing to watch on TV. he is a big fan of watching films too, but Box Office is limited at moment, he says. Just another idea.

well if dh likes movies you could do that and maybe subscribe to Empire or something?
