play tent recommendation?

DD desperately wants a TENT for her birthday. We dont have a garden, though may take it out occassionally. So need to be small enough for inside, but large enough for a 4 and 2 yr old together.

We did get one free with a vertbaudet order but as it didnt peg to the ground the one time we took it outside it kept falling over. And inside it kept falling apart so i binned it in a fit of temper, so i dont want to pay for something like that!

I did wonder if it might be better to buy a beach shelter type tent and let the kids play in it.

This seemed sturdy enough when my 4 year old ds and his nearly 3 year old friend were rolling around in it .

Seriously though, I was impressed especially as it is not expensive. My friend bought it for her dd and they both played in it when we visited for the afternoon. They gave it some serious hammer (had to tell them off for laying in it kicking the sides) but it stood up to it well.

I'm not sure if you can peg it down though, I wasn't paying that much attention.

We got one from toys r us years ago and it is still in great nick despite a pounding from 4 children (who all manage to get in together! although not to sleep). Folds up into small round bag. Highly recommend it. Has got loops to be penned down. exactly like this one If they have a tunnel to go with it, I'd get one, wish we had originally.
