What scooter is this?

We are planning to get DS a scooter for his 2nd birthday as he has been very keen on them when we've seen them while out and about. DH noticed in the park today that all of the other kids seemed to have a scooter with two wheels at the front, that could be steered very easily. Does this ring a bell with anyone? If so many people have it, i suspect it could be a good one.

Failing that, all scooter recommendations gratefully received! [oh yes, folding would be vital as we have limited space]

Thanks in advance

The mini micro is worth every penny! It has been used daily here since we bought for DS last April.

Thanks everyone and sorry for coming back to the thread so late. DS1 has been poorly, so i've been vomit mopping

Starting to wonder if it's worth buying this scooter until we have a car - which is about a year away. We have a Phil & Teds in doubles mode, so the idea of carting that, plus the scooter to the park - even when DH is around is ridiculous. Maybe it'll have to be a third birthday present after all...in which case maybe i'm better off getting the metal one, but then DD1 won't be able to use it for ages...hmmm. Didn't really think this through did i! But thank you for your input. At least i'll know which scooter to get, if and when we get one

Can you not hang the scooter off the buggy somewhere? I do with my mountain buggy. In fact I'm sure that someone at dd's nursery took the handle part off the base the other day and put it into a P&T.

CarGirl · 12/03/2010 23:46

I've recently bought the metal similar one called iscoot as my dd got too heavy for the mini micro (she is 6.5) and she hates it, wheels are too small and it's just not worth it IYSWIM

They are so light you can just balance it on the P&T hood.
