Car Seat for a Vitara Jeep ? any advice

We have a vitara jeep and need to buy a good quality car seat for sprog due on the 14th July any advice gratefully received.

whereabouts do you live Firstbump? Your council (road safety division) may offer a free 'try before you but scheme' - know they do here in Bristol. Basically you ring to arrange to take your car along, then they fit loads of different seats in the car to see which is the best fit. Great idea, and great scheme. Worth asking.
Otherwise, what about going along to your Mothercare or John Lewis to see if they can try seats out for you?
