This

Is that likely to be rubbish? Or are the real ones just so expensive cos you're paying for the name? I can't decide what I think.

Dh says it'll be no good, but I'm more gullible open minded

I have it and its great.
I only use it for music but I'm really happy with the sound quality.
Wouldn't have a clue re. the photo or movie bits though.

BendyBob · 25/02/2010 20:13

Ah, interesting! You have one? I thought it'd be ok. I had an MP3 player from them years ago. It was good but v complicated to use.

I thought this might be an affordable thing for children.

looks good
I need a new ipod thing

is it only available on sunday?

doubleinstructions · 25/02/2010 20:20

It would be I'd say.
Its so easy to use and this is from someone who is a complete Luddite.
I use it when I'm out walking/very slow jogging so even if i did break it,it was cheap enough that I wouldnt mind having to replace it.

BendyBob · 25/02/2010 20:30

Thanks double, that's a help actually.

Hmm am interested now. Dd(8) has been wanting something like this for a while and has some money saved up. I'd rather she spent 30 quid than over 100.

I do think the brand name accounts for the high cost of this type of thing usually.

ggirl - it'll be available from Sunday for a few days, or until they sell out I guess.

Aldi come out with new things every Thurs and Sunday.

Welcome

cordonbleugh · 25/02/2010 20:58

when it says integrated speaker, does that mean that it has a built in speaker, so you don't have to wear headphones?

Want to get one for DD but she's only 3 so obv don't want her to use the in ear headphones!

BendyBob · 25/02/2010 21:45

Is it easy to download music onto this double?

OP posts:
cookielove · 25/02/2010 21:49

but it isn't an ipod, i mean made by apple?

brimfull · 25/02/2010 22:06

I know its not an actual ipod

like calling a dyson a hoover

chocolatespiders · 25/02/2010 22:09

can you use itunes to get music onto it?

cookielove · 25/02/2010 22:17

I was actually just asking and not being cheeky

SixtyFootDoll · 25/02/2010 22:20

My DS has a similar one that I got off ebay, in some ways it is better than an IPOD as you can download you're music via your windows medai player.
With an Ipod you have to convert all your tunes via Itunes.
I have an Ipod Nano but think DS's fake on eis equally as good. Go for it.

doubleinstructions · 25/02/2010 22:22

really easy...i copied music files from my laptop with roxio creator.
Like I said I'm a technophobe but was it was simple.
choclatespider - I wouldn't have a clue about itunes.

brimfull · 25/02/2010 22:32

cookie-sorry thought you were stating the obvious
