..top of my list at the moment for a new pushchair is a Vigour 3 or the new B Smart 3. I would like to know what the tyres are like. The internet says puncture resistant but are they pneumatic (sp?) or just plastic with no air? i can't tell by the pictures. Thanks anyone

Plastic with no air, I've only recently purchased mine and TBH for the price I paid (ebay) I'm v. impressed.

thanks for you message aaaahhhh, i have always preferred air filled tyres but have read good reviews on this pushchair. is it good on rough ground? also to decide between the vigour or the b smart!

HI

I have the older model and originally had air tyres but the front one developed a fault . The shop was fab and sent me a whole set of new tyres but not air ones. We have a park down the road and although the new tyres are not as 'smooth' they are still pretty good as in fairness it is a very bumpy track!

Have to say love my vigour. We had the carrycot, DD2 now 15mths. Longest I have ever owned a pram. Just wish they did it in a double......

Vigour 3 has pneumatic, 3+ has plastic.

I had the 3+ with plastic tyres and have had it everywhere and its been a dream to push (just locked front wheel for rough ground). I bought mine in 2008 so seat wasn't suitable for a newborn but if i was to buy again i would go for the b smart over the vigour, I think the fabric is much nicer!

i have ordered the b-smart - price wise it was the pretty much the same as the vigour (was actually cheaper but will have to order a rain cover separately) i can't wait to get it now and try it out!

Can you let me know how you get on mummydarlingsausage?
I'm not due til aug, but I'm liking the sound of them.

I have the Vigour 4+ and love it. So easy and handy. Just a bit wide on the back wheels. But I so wish that gorgeous green colour of the BSmart had been available...

We bought the carrycot (not the babysleeper) to go with it and that has been such a bonus - LO sleeps in it when we are away and we are only jsut changing over to the "proper" pushchair seat not as he hits 6mo.

Is the fold the same? I watched the video on Mothercare and couldn't tell! The brake looks different - don't know why they changed that.

I received the b-smart yesterday - baby due in 2 weeks though so only been able to try it around the house so far! Anyway, first impressions are good - feels very light and easy to manouver(sp?).
Handle is a comfy height as we are on the taller size, easy to unfold and fold - only downside is you have to remove the seat in order to fold if it is in rear-facing position (if forward facing can be folded as one) The seat looks very padded and comfy.
I was worried about ordering this without seeing it but I'm sure it will do the job. We have been through lots of buggies with other dc's so I knew what I was looking for. The main things for us are rear-facing seat from birth, good handle height, 3 wheels, not too small (we had a micralite toro briefly for ds but he was too big for it at 18 months!).
Also, I think the price is great - we paid £239 which is good value - we had a bugaboo for ds when he was born which is so much more expensive. As this will be final dc it would not have made sense to over-spend on this buggy!
