What's the best double buggy for a buggy board?

Due to complete lack of triples am going to consider this. Mine is no good, I have a marco sky and it can't support three children.

Am thinking something quite good value for money, any ideas?

Twin Nipper, I've removed the hand brake on mine and the the child on the board stands with head between the hood and the handle, so you don't have to lean arkwardly. I don't think that you will find it any heavier to push than the MS with 2 in.

Sorry forgot to add that you will need a Kiddiboard not a buggy board

lunavix · 12/07/2005 21:37

what's the difference?

The buggy board fixies to the side poles of the buggy and a kiddiboard is more suitable for a pram as it fits to the axel/bar width ways IYSWIM. The Twin nipper has the perfect bar for that

lunavix... you may be better off with seat to go
kids can sit down on it rather than having to stand

lunavix · 12/07/2005 21:42

I'll have a look starlover

DH and I talked about it and seeing as we want the twins to walk more, it makes more sense having a double and a board, if I have a triple (which are so clumsy to push) I may struggle with keeping hold of someone small - potentially two small people.

The Seat to go is great imo but it doesn't fit many doubles as its fixings are not wide enough

lunavix · 12/07/2005 21:46

hmm.. any others you think might fit it xena?

I'll consider the nipper a definate possibility but we want to try and get something secondhand.. can't see any of that on ebay! Just one for nearly £300...

may be worth going into a local nursery shop, or even mothercare and trying a few out.
specially if they stock the buggy board/kiddiboard/seat to go!

Xena · 12/07/2005 21:49

Normally theres quite a few on ebay around £150 they finish at. NIPPER ON EBAY SAME AS MINE

It would need to be a one in front of the other (tandem?) double for a seat to go. Or it might fit a Maclaren double on one side, but it would be heavy to push.

lunavix · 13/07/2005 10:50

I'll keep an eye on those, don't know why but when I searched it it only came up with the new one!!!

Cmon.. anyone else with a double buggy!!!!
