blackout blinds - do they go on the inside or the outside of the frame?

Hi Powder I have put mine on the inside. Actually you're probably better putting it on the outside as it may block out all the light. Cos we have got such a great bloody window we had to buy two and because of the fittings we still have an inch gap either side.....HTH

We've put ours inside too, with blackout lined curtains on the outside. There's still a "halo" around the curtains but it's a lot better than without, little bloke doesn't mind too much.

We have ours on the inside too. There is a slight bit of light either side through the curtains but it is still very dark in his room so i suppose it does the trick!
