TRUNKI and trunki backpack booster seat???

Hi.

We are going on holiday in May to Fiji with our 7yr old and 3yr old. They are both very petite.

I have been researching the Trunki suitcase and it seems fab, mainly for my 3yr old, wondeirng if 7yr old may be a bit old? I like the fact they can take their toys etc onto the plane in them and would be great if they have 1 each so they dont fight!

I was also looking at a website and they are bringing out a trunki backpack which turns into a booster seat, how fab! The thought of having to take car seats with us, however not sure if this is a high back booster or just a booster, can take on the plane with all their toys in and unfold it for a seat.

Can anyone help me further please? They are quite expensive but are they worth the money?

Thanks

Know friends and family who have trunkis for their children and they love them. They fit nicely on the plane and appear very accessible. Seem to hold sufficient for the plane journey, and appeared good fun in the waiting areas.

DD is 7y though and too old to justify buying one. She quite liked pinching a go on he friends at the airport though.

Is the backpack booster avalable yet? I am interested in this for DD for when we go to Las Vegas (for the taxi transfers) in May. I think it is just a booster, no back.

Thanks,Not available until easter and yes it is just a booster, seems a very good idea though.

Maybe 2 trunkis would be a better idea for me or 1 trunki for them to share and 1 booster thingie!

what a clever idea !

dd and ds were both bought trunki's by my sister and they love them. Ideal for hols or weekend breaks and in fact both love packing them!

I tend to pack in them a change of clothes or pj's (depends on the journey) and they comforter toys/dummies, dvd player etc.

Love the idea f a booster seat and in fact off to show dh now.!

The amount of times we have struggled when abroard with car seats & travel and been loked at like we are mad... BUT the way some taxi's are driven its not worth the risk.

there is a bag/ booster seat combo thing in the new jojo catalogue- i had a conversation about it with another mn'er at toddlers

I saw a Gruffalo trunki and it was so cuuuuuuute.

Wish I'd had one when mine were small enough. We'd arrive late into Terminal 1 at Heathrow and have to walk about a mile to get the pushchair back. Bloody nightmare
